TÜV Rheinland Has Been Appointed Indonesia’s Accredited Testing Laboratory for Automotive Wheel Products (L Category)

In a recent announcement by the Ministry of Industry, Republic of Indonesia, TÜV Rheinland Indonesia has been appointed as an accredited testing laboratory for wheel products in L category for motorcycle or vehicles with less than four wheels. The laboratory, located in Infinia Park Blok 92-93 Jl Dr Sahardjo No 45 Jakarta, is now accredited to apply and supervise the mandatory of National Standard of Indonesian (SNI) for the specific product. This appointment is effective since September 12th, 2017.

TÜV Rheinland Indonesia appointed as Project Management Consultant for Jakarta's Light Rail Transit Project

The traffic congestion conditions in Jakarta prompted the need for the city to rapidly ramp up its public transportation system. As a result, the government had decided to push for the Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, with reference to the President Regulation No. 98 Year 2015 about The Acceleration of Implementation of Public Railway in Jakarta. PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk. was appointed to build and operate the LRT as the Project Developer while a third-party Project Management Consultant (PMC) was needed to ensure smooth and effective implementation of the LRT project. TÜV Rheinland, as a proven and trusted certification body, was appointed as the official PMC to deliver inspecting and consulting during project development and implementation stage.
